How to make a 3D Snake with Paper Blocks| With Free Template!

How to make a Geometric Snake
(with printed template)

To make a geometric animal using origami paper was our first Model-making assignment for second semester at architecture. I decided upon snake for its easy and repetitive body structure. After 3 hours of work on computer, I had made this template for one unit of the snake’s body. All you’ve got to is to get multiple printouts of this template in various sizes (which are already resized in the document) and follow the steps –
You can Download the Template for the Snake Units by clicking the following links

Template for Snake Body
Template for Snake Head

1)      Cut out almost 7-8 templates of each size carefully
2)      Fold them in towards the printed side
3)      Paste the edges neatly as shown in the video
4)      Arrange the units in an curved pattern and stick them together.

Here is the Video Tutorial showing how to make Basic Units of the Snake's body.
