Pot Painting and Decoration - White M-Seal - Abstract Water Painting

POT PAINTING USING SHILPKAR AND ENAMEL PAINTS

‘Shilpkar’ is a product of ‘Fevicry’ Hobby Ideas. It is like M-Seal. That is, it has e components which are supposed to be mixed to get clay like substance which could be moulded into desired shape. It can harden in 5-6 hours. This is perfect for pottery designing. We can create ethnic, antique, modern designs which could be pasted on the pot without any glue. These are some of the designs which I have made.
Water Painting also called marble painting is done with the help of paints which are insoluble in water. Marbling is the process of floating fabric paints on the surface of water, somewhat like oil on water. The floating paints are swirled into patterns. Then you capture your design by dipping the pot and rolling it on top of the paint to transfer the swirls to the pot. It is that easy!
All you have got to do is first decorate your pot with shilpkar designs and then dip the pot into floating enamel paints.

You need –
·       A Pot
·       Enamel paints (2 colours)
·       Shilpkar (White M-seal)
·       A tub full of water
·       Acrylic paints
·       Brushes
·       Any Stick
·       Newspapers (To avoid mess)
·       Gloves (Optional)

Procedure –
First design your pot with shilpkar. Then fill a tub full of water and pour 2-3 enamel paints into water. You will notice that the enamel paints will float on top of water surface. Then, swirl the water surface to create abstract patterns on water. Then, slowly dip and roll the pot on the water surface to transfer the design onto it. Let it dry for 48 hours and paint the remaining part of pot with acrylic paints.

Your Designer pot is ready!!!
